What to you get when you combine Cerebral Tree + Graceful Fortitude?

In September I met a lovely couple in Chicago and they e-mailed me to ask if I could create a painting for them. The paintings they liked were already sold, and so we began our discussion about how I could make their special piece just for them. I sent them my little "How to get your commissioned painting made" questionnaire and we were off!
This is the first tree I have made in this exact way. The shape of the tree is similar to Cerebral Tree but the branches are separated out like Graceful Fortitude. I etched my meditative pattern into the tree and created a sunset or sunrise with my colors. One of my favorite little details is the light blue/turquoise edge of the ground. That is always so fun to work on. The title "Cerebral Fortitude" is perfect because I love this idea of being strong of mind.

It was such an easy and wonderful process getting this piece commissioned. Heather is humble, in-tune, and an incredible artist. We gave her ideas about what we liked from her existing paintings and she masterfully integrated them into Cerebral Fortitude. We absolutely love it. Hanging on our wall, the painting gives our room a whole new feel. I smile every time I look at it. Thank You!
