This morning I woke up feeling like I just might break. I love what I do, so much that it consumes the majority of my mind and time. There are times though, that make me feel like I just want to run far far away. It isn't that I haven't gone through stressful times before, and I certainly have been through worse. The only thing I can do to keep myself from completely drowning is try to focus on the positive. So today, my lifeline is knowing that I get to take my family to Memphis, Tennessee for
RiverArtsFest this weekend (we love Memphis) and knowing that I accomplished my goal of making four new tree paintings and I am really happy with them.

Another positive note is that I get to be featured on
ScatNStyle's blog this week. She contacted me about answering some interview questions on her blog. I believe she found me through
Mary C. Nasser's blog because I see that she has also interviewed
Mary and
Susie Tenzer. So if you would like to see a super cool music blogger that takes the time to appreciate visual art, and learn a little more about me,
click here. Thank you so much Deborah for making me feel special.
