New Camera and New Project Idea!

Finally! I have invested in a camera. No, I'm not changing from painter to photographer. I AM however planning to take better pictures. It was time. And now I can take lots of blog worthy photos of all the fun things I do! I've already been tinkering, but truth is I need to read the manual.

This is a picture that Ben took of me working over the weekend in my kitchen on my new project idea. (The camera must be good if I am willing to put a photo of myself out there on the internets!) I have to tell you, I am so excited about this new project idea, I have been just giddy. This is the first painting in a series of paintings I plan to do with a little twist. I was inspired to take this leap by an online course I have been taking called Creative Courage. This course was just what I needed to help me re-focus my creative path. Thank you so much Stephanie Levy!

Sorry I can't tell you more details, because I really want to hang onto this one until I am ready.  I am still experimenting a bit, and boy is it fun!

    1. Not nosy at all, I am happy to tell you about my camera. It is a Canon T3i Rebel DSLR. So far we really love it, but I have a lot to learn. Yesterday we took it on a hike and that was fun.
