I am just so happy to be in the studio today, I wanted to share it with you. This is the time, when I have things in all different stages and I can't wait to get here and paint.
On top of the easel are my two tree paintings I keep mentioning. They are alllllmost finished, but I always procrastinate those last few touches at the end, because I don't want to screw them up. Below the trees is a blank board waiting for me to start. My aunt Chris who lives in Florida has commissioned me to create a painting for over her fire place and I am dying to get started.
This is a stack of small boards waiting for me to play with! Yep, I said play. My plan is to offer a class in experimental texture painting and these will be the samples. It is going to be so fun. I have had this in the back of my mind for about 8 months, but I haven't had time to really pull it together since running the gallery. My goal is to be ready to go in time for May. Wish me luck!
And, the best part is that I get to start another St. Louis painting, but this time, for my friend Carmen to give as a gift to a friend who is moving from STL. Just trying to decide which one of these Little Gems will get to be the lucky one.
Soooo, time to get busy!
Yipppee, you are *finally* gonna teach a class. The line will stretch all the way out the door :)
